Once funds are allocated to a Participant the plan funds are either managed by:
• the Participant (self-managed)
• managed by the National Disability Insurance Agency (agency managed) or
• managed by an independent business that specialises in managing plans (plan managed).

Participants must spend their allocated funds on services and goods that are consistent with the goals set out in their plans.
