What information can you give on the functions of the Thermomix®?

When providing relevant information to Customers on the individual benefits the Participants will experience from the Thermomix®, best practice requires the following approach:

• Arrange to meet (via virtual or in-person preference) with the Participant, their support person and with the person who is preparing their assessment report to provide a demonstration on the functions of the Thermomix®

• Highlight and discuss the benefits of guided cooking, meal planning, shopping lists, and Cookidoo®

• The functions that benefit one Participant might not be relevant to another, so it is useful to understand each Participant’s needs. This will allow you to showcase the functions that will benefit them the most and to avoid information overwhelm.

• The NDIS requires a Participant to show why the purchase they are requesting is ‘reasonable and necessary’. Consultants can highlight features that support this requirement but must not provide information comparing the Thermomix® to other appliances in the same category.
